With a couple exceptions, the Jordan Stadium 90 has opted to roll out in appealing yet original colorways as its life has continued. The latest continues a lowkey, lifestyle turn for Jordan Brand by dressing primarily in neutral shades.
While pure white adorns much of the upper, the lower half is marked by “Light Bone” grey suede that takes to the eyestay panel at the quarter and the mudguard that traces the silhouette. That same material change can be seen on the Swoosh, one of three areas where “Obsidian” navy informs this design. Completing the potentially patriotic trifecta, “Gym Red” appears very briefly on the tongue tag, but more prominently on a Jumpman tag that peeks out from the inset section of the medial side. Given the impact of the Air Jordan 5 on this model, it’s hard not to think of 2011’s “Independence Day” version, cladding Mike’s 5th in a mix of white, navy and red. Nonetheless, even if this an homage or a recreation, it’s not one-to-one — allowing the Jordan Stadium 90 to continue forging its own path.
The Jordan Stadium 90 “Gym Red” hasn’t been assigned a concrete release date. Instead, expect these materializing in the coming weeks, carrying a $120 price tag.
Elsewhere on the Jordan Release Dates 2024 slate, the Air Jordan 1 “Green Glow” launches on April 20th.
