Andrew Rizzo The Air Max 90 is already an icon among lifestyle shoes, so Nike doesn’t need to do all that much to spice up the model for new releases. This latest trio serves as a slight upgrade to the model’s various monotone makeups, joined by a shared use of reflective tongue labels that add low-key flair to the Tinker Hatfield production.
Grey, black, and dark teal blue treatments make up the “Reflective Tongue Pack”. Each pair boasts the same standard material makeup, save for that reflective silver on the tongue, but are differentiated by slight color blocking tweaks. The black pair takes the most stealthy approach with a grey midsole to match the accents above, while the grey and blue pairs sport white midsoles with titular-colored wedge structures. Breaking further from the herd, the grey pair also works in a splash of neon green in the Air chambers.
