Andrew Rizzo A “Boston Celtics” colorway makes almost too much sense for the adidas Rivalry Low. Particularly relevant on model born in the 80s, this design communicates basketball heritage through “Preloved Green” suede taken after one of the NBA’s most successful franchises.
Aside from the suede base, black stripes are matched by more leather at the forefoot and collar, while an off-white exposed foam tongue evokes a clear vintage vibe. A dark brown gum sole completes the look underfoot, best defined by its cement-like pattern towards the front half.
The hue of choice warrants an unofficial “Celtics” nickname, but the shoes could just as easily be co-opted by fans of other green-drenched squads like the Milwaukee Bucks or Dallas Mavericks (once upon a time).
