Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low “Matcha” Releasing In 2025

The Japanese skater's second Dunk collab.

Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low “Matcha” Releasing In 2025

As we creep closer and closer to this summer’s Paris Olympics, the Nike SB creatives are ensuring all of their athletes get some time in the spotlight in the launch calendar. Yuto Horigome, the gold medal winner who continues to shine as a central athlete on the roster is returning to the Nike Dunk Low after his collab last year. We’re now getting a first look at the end product, with the “Matcha” edition set to release in early Spring 2025.

Consistent with that last release, Horigome’s crossed feathers logo is applied on the rear overlays. Also remaining is a rich mix of neutral tones, combining the titular “Matcha” with a slew of earth tones: “Sesame” sets a foundation at the base, “Light Khaki” painting the heel tag and “Dark Loden” appearing at the collar.

If there’s one area in which this release improves on its predecessor though, it’s with much more material depth. The suede overlays are speckled in contrasting tones of black and white, the collar appears in a stratified pattern, and overall, the grain of the hardware here imbues a more luxurious atmosphere. Though it’s a more muted take, the green-heavy palette here calls to mind the Nike Dunk Low “Escargot,” a similar special edition whose release is expected much closer to the Paris Olympics.

The Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low “Matcha” is expected next year; to get a detailed look while we await further details, check out the gallery below.
