Simply put, the delivery marries one of New Balance’s hottest models with the most recognizable brand-color pairing in the industry. While the shoe’s primary association pertains to “Made In USA/England” footwear among other New Balance classics, it also evokes the timelessness of stone through balanced “Moonrock/Moonbeam/Sea Salt” treatments. Wide mesh appears at the base, overlaid by matching leather and suede panels that speak to tech-runner aesthetics.
The New Balance 1906R has worn all-grey treatments on several occasions, but the “Grey Day” moniker serves to produce a more desirable pick-up than other mainline versions. Resale prices for prized “Grey Day” New Balance shoes typically surpass MSRP, so interested parties are best advised to try copping at retail via the purchase links in our “Where To Buy” section upon the shoe’s release.
The New Balance 1906R “Grey Day” releases May 17th for $165, a slight hike from the model’s typical $155 mark. Until then, enjoy official images below.
