A Multitude Of Browns Appear On The Nike Dunk Low LX “1972”

Nike’s not afraid to blur the lines between its various sub-brands, especially on lifestyle classics like the Nike Dunk. This latest women’s pair boasts the aesthetic of a Nike ACG invention through various brown treatments and outdoors-inspired details, injecting some much needed uniqueness to the model’s 2024 lineup.

Starting from the top, the Dunk Low “1972” begins with a perforated tongue and jewel Nike logo decorated in energetic blue and red shades. Brown and yellow rope laces carry the theme to the base, taken in washed brown leather, while tan panels wrap the toe, heel, and Swoosh. Moving to the heel, the left and right shoes feature stitched Nike logos in blue and red, respectively, along with attached lace material piping in black/white. Brown nubuck rests underneath so at the match the sock lining, and the insoles host more blue and red hits through “1972” graphics. Additionally, the delivery comes with a brown leather “1972” keychain and white/red plastic Nike tag.

The women’s Nike Dunk Low LX “1972” is currently available in Asia; it’s unknown whether or not they’ll drop stateside at the time of this writing. Regardless, enjoy official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page for updates over the coming weeks.

If you’d prefer a more familiar colorway, check out the Suede Panda Dunks dropping later this year.
