First launched in March with a green suede upper and modified toe-cap, the Ninja Turtles adidas Superstar was universally lauded for its expert comic-book inspired packaging and attention to detail. It was just a matter of time before the other key characters would join in, and after learning that Master Splinter would be getting his own issue, Shredder now steps into the ring to cast some intimidation.
Revealed below is a first look at the Shredder x adidas Superstar from the TMNT collection; dressed in a stark black leather upper with metallic silver stripes, this design features the head honcho’s signature burgundy cape touching the heel-tab, while cream white accents flood the interior lining and the laces. His name appears printed on the medial sides of the shoes, while significant emblems appear on the silver lace dubrae.
Shredder’s pair likely rounds out the entire selection, so if you’ve been looking to complete the set, both the Shredder and the Splinter Superstars are set to release at select adidas Originals retailers on May 22nd, 2024 for $140.
