Rarely going outside the bounds of comfortable and essential, Sporty & Rich has established a fanbase of loyalists that value the charm of the everyday effortless look as much as they do the manicured runway aesthetic.
For its latest collaborative project with adidas Originals, Sporty & Rich turns its focus on the Handball Spezial, doing very little but accomplishing quite a bit. Gum soles, cream white stripes, and thicker laces are the anchor of this pack, with three saturated suedes in brown, green, and pink offered as options. Above the rear-most stripe is the Sporty & Rich label in gold foil.
The Handball Spezial silhouette itself is getting a heavy push by the brand, positioned as a cousin of sorts to the mega-popular Samba. A variety of in-line colors are available right now, and they’re admittedly tough to distinguish from the Sporty & Rich collaborations. It all comes down to choice of color and how badly you need that collab logo on your feet.
All three pairs are scheduled to drop on May 23rd on the adidas Confirmed App and sportyandrich.com.
