Matt Varga Back in 2021, New Balance and Boston College Athletics inked a 10 year merchandising agreement, uniting the two Massachusetts institutions for the long term. Since then, the public has gotten a consistent flow of BC branded footwear, spanning models like the New Balance 550, 574 and 327. The New Balance 9060 is the latest to get in on the action, taking on trademark tones in its latest colorway.
In contrast to preview burgundy-on-white two-tone footwear, the New Balance 9060 does well to represent the full range of BC’s shades. Maroon serves as the primary accent color on the sockliner, metallic gold outlines the side N branding, and warm grey suede makes an impact on the suede overlay stretches from the quarter to the heel. Despite representing Boston College thoroughly, the typical neutral-shaded lifestyle lane of the 9060 in general remains, making this a daily driver candidate for any BC attendee, alumni or adjacent.
Though this New Balance 9060 doesn’t have a confirmed release date, anticipate its debut before this Fall ushers in new seasons for BC athletics. Expect a $160 MSRP.
