Sneaker News Saucony has always had a devout customer base, but growing favorability towards retro trainers has introduced a new wave of consumers to the New England brand’s catalog. And to sneakerhead’s delight, increased demand will be met with ample supply; Saucony has curated a stacked lineup of new ProGrid Omni 9 colorways for Fall 2024, delivering a range of styles that capture all kinds of footwear preferences.
Sneakerheads might recognize the ProGrid Omni 9 from recent collaborations with Jae Tips and Callen Schaub, but truth be told, it’s been alive and well within Saucony fan’s consciousness since it debuted in 2010. While you can think of it as Saucony’s counter to models like the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 and New Balance 1906R, the ProGrid Omni 9 deserves flowers of its very own. Its ambassadors report a supportive, breathable, and lightweight wear thanks in part to ProGrid technology in the shoe’s outsole. And when it comes to design, reception has been just as warm. Whether its through sporty colorways clad in metallic silver or suede-heavy contemporary overhauls, the Saucony design team has been hitting all the right notes.
Ahead of the upcoming Fall 2024 season, Sneaker News previews over a dozen colorways of the silhouette covering a wide range of colors and materials executions that truly reflect the versatility of this admittedly under-reported retro runner. These are not all that’s dropping from Saucony next season, but this preview should guide you properly to what to expect from the brand as we approach the Holiday 2024 season. Prices typically range from $150-170 depending on the type of materials used.
