Air Jordan 5 “Grape” Releasing In 2025

The 1990 icon returns.

Air Jordan 5 “Grape” Releasing In 2025

If you needed something else to get you more excited for 2025 Jordans, here it is. The Air Jordan 5 “Grape” is set to return in Summer 2025, likely donning original Nike Air branding on the heel.

An original colorway from 1990, the “Grape” Jordan 5 represented an off-the-court Air Jordan option, an unconventional choice given how most Air Jordans were strictly, black, red, and white. Despite the prevalence of an aqua blue tone, this Air Jordan release was quickly knighted with the “Grape” nickname despite the official color spec being “Grape Ice”.

The Air Jordan 5 “Grape” has been seen in the retro cycle; it re-released for the first time in 2006, followed by another drop in 2013.

This early information shared by industry source @zsneakerheadz doesn’t quite include anything beyond the news at hand, but it seems like a sure bet that Jordan Brand will be bringing the shoes back as close to the original as possible. After all, 2025 is the 35th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 5, and we expect an emphasis around this iconic model.

In other Jordan news, we just recently learned about the Air Jordan 4 “White/Cement” possibly returning next year as well.
