If you’re among the scores of consumers with multiple pairs of Nike Dunks in your closet, you’ll know that there aren’t many models you can reach for as easily as the Dunk Low. With how perfectly it pairs with most outfit, the silhouette presents an easy, accessible way to add some seasonal flair into the equation. That’s exact the prompt Peter Moore’s design is aiming at with its newest iteration in “Bright Cactus.”

As with most GR Dunk drops, the simplicity of the model is one of the strongest draws. Leather underlays and mesh overlays in pure white set the foundation, a monochromatic base that set up the detailing to steal the show. In kind, titular “Bright Cactus ” is easily the biggest attention-grabber painting the Swoosh and heel. Rounding out this pair is the gum bottom that lands underfoot, a touch only used so frequently because of how successful it is in each successive iteration. All told, the eggshell overtones make this a solid match for pre-Labor Day fits, while the colorful accenting at this pair’s center adds a ton of energy on top.
