Skepta Unites With Dover Street Market On His PUMA Skope

UK MC Skepta debuted the fruits of his PUMA partnership in May, unveiling the PUMA Skope in May and foregrounding many of the same design choices that defined his time with Nike. Instantly a sell-out proposition, news of a follow-up colorway were scant until now. The Boy Better Know boss is uniting again with Dover Street Market, releasing an olive green colorway exclusively via the England-based retailer.

Contrasting the all-black look of the original, the second edition of Skepta shoes produces a more reptilian look. The reflective leather on the upper remains in place but turns towards emerald tonality, as does the mesh a layer below it. The edges of this sneaker keep it in grounded territory by dressing primarily in staid black & white. On this edition specifically, Without the iridescent leather to distract from it, the sole arguably becomes the main draw of the Skepta PUMA Skope, extending out onto the toe-box and heel of the shoe.

While it doesn’t appear this is a true collab, there’s precedent and synergy in this team-up all the same. Notably, Skepta enlisted DSM for a genuine one just last year, minting a co-branded apparel with them via his MAINS streetwear label.

The PUMA Skope Forever releases on June 15th exclusively via Dover Street Market; both their global retail locations and website. While a retail price hasn’t been confirmed, expect this pair to command something around $200, the MSRP for the debut colorway.
