The Nike SB Force 58 “Ashen Slate” Is Available Now

News of the Nike SB Air Max 95 and Nike SB Air Force 1 have lit the sneaker world on fire in the past few weeks. While those retoolings are certainly headline-worthy, the inline NSB roster is as healthy as it’s arguably ever been, offering skate-ready, accessible silos in every shape and size. The Nike SB Force 58 is a central part of that, refracting classic Nike design language once again in its “Ashen Slate” look.

While the structure is obviously altered to better befit its skate lifestyle, in any Force 58 colorway it’s hard to ignore the Air Force 1‘s influence. Here, the color-blocking that pins icy “Glacier Blue” on suede overlays and white leather underneath is a dead ringer for the AF1’s default composition. The oceanic blend of blues & greys again succeeds in this application, though, and results in a pair just as fit for boarding as it is for everyday life.

The Nike SB Force 58 “Ashen Slate” is available now via Nike.com, on offer in extended men’s sizing for $85. Hit the link under “Where To Buy” to get yours.

Staying with the Swoosh, Deion Sanders’ shoes, the Nike Air DT Max ’96 and Nike Air Force 1 “Linen” stand as this week’s biggest retro efforts.
