Given how comparable models like the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 have managed to capture the public’s attention, the Nike Pegasus 2K5 is relatively under discussed. Able to put its Y2K design principles up against the best of them, the runner-turned-lifestyle shoe is taking a page out of it’s younger sibling’s book, adopting an electrifying mix of silver & yellow for its newest colorway.

It’s hard to ignore the similarities between this shoe and the coveted “Racer Blue” & “Electric Green” editions of the Vomero, sporting the same split between metallics on top and bright contrast shades on the underlying mesh sections. However, the overall compositional differences allow this shoe to tap into a different lane; the chunky, pure white sole leans more towards bonafide dad shoe aesthetics.
