adidas Combines Two Next-Gen Innovations With The 4DFWD STRUNG

adidas has long been a pioneering force when it comes to running shoe innovation, and their latest next-gen breakthrough, the adidas 4DFWD STRUNG, continues to surface in fresh colorways following its debut late last year.

The shoe marries a 4D midsole with a lightweight STRUNG upper, fusing two prized tech features that debuted in 2017 and 2022, respectively. Sneakerheads are surely acquainted with the shoe’s underfoot tooling by now, but as far as the top half goes, STRUNG is meant to provide a more breathable, durable, contained wear compared to Primekint and other fabrics. It’s become an integral part of the brand’s high-performance running series in recent years and was even incorporated on soccer cleats in late 2023.

Much like previously-released colorways, this latest pair takes a tech-forward approach with a simple black/grey mix up top and off-white 4D sole, allowing advanced features to speak for themselves.

Pairs are currently available in Asia for what equates to around $250, a notable markdown from the $300 MSRP that’s accompanied stateside releases. See detailed images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page while we keep our ears up for word on a US drop.
