The Alchemist Debuts Salehe Bembury’s Crocs Saru Mule In Two New Colorways

Thundercat, Lou Adler & Isaiah Rashad. On top of being a trio of musical heavyweights, those are just some of the artists that have starred in Salehe Bembury official campaigns. With the NYC-born designer adding a new silo to his portfolio earlier this year, he’s enlisting another master behind the boards to debut its newest colorways, tabbing the Alchemist for his latest shots of the Crocs Saru Mule.

In case you missed our initial coverage of the Saru, the Saru Mule is an understandable evolution of the Pollex traction pattern that’s marked his Classic Clog & Slide output. Maintaining the brain-like layout underfoot, the top of the shoe is what’s transformed most radically, cutting out the “Sport Mode” strap and raising the foot entrance to ensure security despite the new mule life. Also in typical fashion, monochromatic executions remain in the spotlight; sunny “Citrine” and oceanic “Geneva” are the fourth and fifth colorways to grace the burgeoning silhouette.

Just as anticipation is sky-high for the Salehe Bembury New Balance 530, demand will no doubt carry over to this latest collection, so prepare for a contentious drop or aftermarket prices if you’re aiming to grab either shoe.

The Crocs Saru Mule drops in its “Citrine” yellow and “Geneva” blue on July 11th via Bembury’s beaspunge.com. Select retailers have also begun listing these two colorways for the same date; use our “Where To Buy” widget ahead for any direct pickup links we come across. If retail from the model’s debut holds, expect a $75 sticker price for either colorway.
