Ever since Stussy brought the Air Max 2013 back to the fold in 2022, Nike’s been quietly dropping the full-length Air runner to the public in standard yet striking colorways. Already revealed in a boisterous all-volt and all-crimson look, Nike now delivers the performance-turned-lifestyle running shoe in a truly iconic pairing loosely connected to a mid-late 1990s hoops classic.
This Air Max 2013 employs the black shade all across the breathable, synthetic upper, while the punchy yellowish-green appears on the Swoosh logo as well as the visible Air unit inside the full-length bladder. It’s a description that fits the Air Total Max Uptempo to a tee; originally dropping in 1997, the Total Max Uptempo, designed by Eric Avar, was unleashed to the public in the same black/volt colorway alongside three other styles.
Currently, a release is scheduled for July 28th, 2024 with an MSRP of $180; however, considering these are not considered a high heat or launch product, don’t be alarmed if these hit stores shelves earlier.
