A Perfect “Triple Grey” Nike Air Max 90 Arrives For Those Who Don’t Need Color

Nike’s recent “Soundwave” Air Max 90 revealed a blast of colors to emanate the vibe of tunes and beats through the unique pattern. This Air Max 90, wants to keep things at mute.

If you’re a fan of neutral colors, Nike is dropping the perfect colorway on the Air Max 90, dressing the Tinker Hatfield-designed classic in an all-grey outfit on the upper. Light and dark shades of pewter, silver, and stone are arranged in a gradient-like order above an all-black midsole, arriving at a point where just the smallest pop of color could tie to familiar icons of the past. A hit of Volt marries these with the Air Max 95 “Volt”, whereas a touch of reddish pink gives of clear Pigeon Dunk possibilites.

In addition to the all-grey palette, Nike chooses some alternate materials to befit the late Fall season; the mesh at the toe and heel are a tighter ballistic nylon material compared to sport mesh, while the thicker, dotted laces are commonly seen in hiking/outdoor fare.

If you love the Air Max 90, you’ll have to wait until later this season to grab these on Nike.com.
