While some may decry the current state of Dunks, experiencing a major tumble in status in the past few years, others may celebrate that same trend, now able to access the defining silhouette of the decade without fighting through contentious releases or sky high grey market pricing. A downstream effect is the rising number of kids’ Dunks, the model shifting from SneakerCon floors to playgrounds more and more as time draws on. The palette essentially speaks for itself, cooking up a combination of violet tones that tint slightly as we work from lilac underlays to lavender overlays. Deep purple on the Swoosh and heel cup helps to establish a monochromatic profile, broken up by bright gold accents on the tongue & heel.
