As an enduring tentpole model for the Swoosh, the Nike Dunk is a frequent choice for developing Beaverton’s continuing sustainability efforts. While efforts like Nike ISPA ventures aim towards 100% recycled composition, the sheer number of Dunks on the street means partially recycled pairs like the one on display here have a much higher overall impact.
Switching to the layout here, the green & white two-tone layout of course calls to mind “Michigan State,” one of the faces of the Dunk hype of the early decade. Much like the “Suede Pandas,” this gives fans of Peter Moore’s design to grab a slightly left-field take on the ever-popular colorway. A speckled, forest green grind sole at the very base and an off-white midsole throw this a bit further from Spartan origins, but this simplistic palette is fit for still any wardrobe all the same.
The Nike Dunk Low Next Nature “Green Suede” is expected to drop this Fall, carrying the typical $115 MSRP.
