The New Balance 1906U Gets Covered In Dusk Purple

Another monotone look joins the fray.

The New Balance 1906U Gets Covered In Dusk Purple

As upcoming collaborations with Concepts and The Whitaker Group further introduce consumers to the New Balance 1906U, the “utilitarian” version of the extraordinarily popular 1906 series, the Boston brand continues to add new general release colorways to its catalog.

A handful of monotone looks have hopped on the newswire in recent months, all of which showcase the distinctive qualities of the sneaker itself in lieu of flashy detailing. The latest from that school is a dusk-like purple pair, crafted with a diamond-grid ripstop base, leather overlays, and rope laces so as to balance between outdoor and Y2K aesthetics.

New Balance hasn’t floated a firm release date at the time of this writing, but pairs are expected to hit shelves in Fall 2024 for $160. Scroll through the full image gallery below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to view more upcoming New Balance kicks.

Speaking of which, take a look at the Aimé Leon Dore-exclusive New Balance 990v4 “Olive” expected for later this year.
