The Air Max 90 is ready to turn 35 next year; will Nike give it the spotlight? While not a major milestone on a numerological standpoint, 35 years is still worth tipping a hat to. It’s one of several Tinker Hatfield designs that will be getting an “Anniversary” treatment as Nike looks to recapture the awe surrounding the Air Max legacy.

Arriving this Fall is a solid in-line style straight from the Nike team. While not quite an OG “Infrared”, the mix of grey, black, and daring red channels that daring spirit that made it such an all-time classic. Here, the Swoosh employs an all-suede upper and Swoosh, while a black leather mudguard remains to match the midsole. A soft sport mesh cover the toe-box and ankle, while an updated mesh with a chain-link fence texture covers the tongue. Finally, blasts of red are scattered throughout, hitting the fore-foot lace eyelets, the Air Max housing, and the heel medallion.

For $130, this Air Max 90 is sure to be moving quick once it becomes available on nike.com and partnering retailers. See the official images for now and stay tuned for updates.
