Lush Pink & Navy Grace The Nike Cortez TXT

Delicate colors create statement piece appeal.

Lush Pink & Navy Grace The Nike Cortez TXT

As a part of the its growing star in Nike’s lifestyle category, the Forrest Gump model was refurbished with the Cortez TXT. Adding extra reinforcement throughout the upper and widening the toe-box, the 1972 runner is ready more than ever for daily driver use. Despite that functional lane, the latest colorway to hit the shoe is anything but ordinary, combining delicate notes of navy & pink.

The simplistic construction that endures here has always meant that outside of rare occasions, the color-blocking is relatively simple on the Nike Cortez. That prompt is unchanged here; shades of orchid take up most of the real estate, from the fabric side walls to the suede T-toe at the forefoot. Navy provides some contrast on the leather Swoosh, the gap between those two hues bridges with an indigo stripe on the midsole. Everything considered, the color combination here isn’t one that’s seen often, giving you the chance to stand out without sacrificing comfort or streetwise appeal in the process.

This Nike Cortez TXT is coming soon to Nike.com and select retailers, likely commanding the accessible $90 price point typical for the model.
