YESEYESEE Debuts A Retrofuturistic New Balance 610 Collaboration

As Action Bronson prepares to draw eyes to New Balance Trail Running by way of an upcoming Minimus Trail collaboration, another one of the brand’s outdoor shoes continues to buff out its collaborative wing.

Known well from projects by Joe Freshgoods and COMME des GARÇONS, the New Balance 610 is now subject to more playful design at the hands of South Korean brand YESEYESEE. Inspired by the calming essence of a sunset, the shoes feature a blue and orange color palette and come packed with notable details. The most external overlays swap between light and dark metallic blue leathers, while the New Balance logo and other ancillary elements play the role of the sun in a dusted orange color. Steering away from that Y2K aesthetic a bit, the midsole comes painted in a distressed yellow hue, embracing retrofuturistic aesthetics in one stroke.

The YESEYESEE x New Balance 610 dropped exclusively at yeseyesee.com on July 4th, so the possibility of a broad New Balance release seems unlikely at the time of this writing. However, if you’re considering paying over retail for a pair on the grey market, let the detailed image gallery below guide your decision.
