Noah Lyles stole the headlines once again as he firmly established himself as the fastest man the world by winning Olympic Gold in the 100m sprint in Paris. Undeniably one of the premiere events of the Olympic Games every four years, the 100m has a new king for the next four year, a true “world” champion.
Lyles, an adidas Running athlete, posted a 9.79 second time wearing adidas Y-3 Spikes. These high-performance track & field shoes feature the innovative STRUNG upper knit, a textile that is created using athlete data. The pair worn by Lyles features large Y-3 branding at the toe above a metallic chrome footbed.
Yohji Yamamoto’s sub-label within the adidas brand was also the official outfitter of the Japanese Olympic athletes.
