“Astro Dust” Settles On The New Balance 1000

An everlasting color combo for this latest GR.

“Astro Dust” Settles On The New Balance 1000

After dominating Q1 as one of the buzzier silhouettes on the market, the New Balance 1000 is beginning to settle in as a mainline NB offering. Fittingly, a wave of accessible, easily worn colorways are on tap as the model becomes more widespread, highlighted by the latest “Astro Dust” & “Sea Salt” colorway featured here.

That titular red lands on the underlying mesh, peeking through wavy leather overlays and creating a faux-gradient between vivid rose towards the forefoot and a more muted tint at the quarter. In addition to classic white & grey painting the upper in retro fashion, an extra dose of vintage sensibility comes with the aged midsole underfoot. Highlighted by the earlier Joe Freshgoods and Aimé Leon Dore collaborations, simplistic looks continue to succeed on the archival model.

The New Balance 1000 “Astro Dust” will be available on August 21st, retailing for $150; enjoy detailed images ahead.
