“New Spruce” & “Salt Marsh” Collide On The New Balance 9060

Natural notes succeed on the ever-popular silo.

“New Spruce” & “Salt Marsh” Collide On The New Balance 9060

If you somehow haven’t noticed, the New Balance 9060 is inescapable. A staple of store shelves and city streets, the hybrid formulation has never been more in demand, and New Balance has happily answered with a steady stream of supply. The latest to emerge is a cool combination of “New Spruce” & “Salt Marsh,” arriving in unisex sizing on August 15th.

As always, the wavy line-work of the 9060 creates some interesting color-blocking results, with scattered cream underlays creating pockets of mesh “Salt Marsh” on the base layer. Up top, lighter hues prevail, painting the suede overlays in “New Spruce.” A solitary stripe of gray at the quarter provides a tacit tie back to the mainline, ensuring that despite the more animated tones on display here, it doesn’t venture far from NB’s trademark neutrals. Dark grey on the sway bar and reliable black on the outsole close out this design, certainly a match for summery outfits but arguably a better fit for cooler weather just around the corner.

This pair drops on August 15th via Foot Locker for $150 in unisex sizing, coming alongside the New Balance 9060 “Strawberries & Cream.” A wider New Balance launch is expected to follow shortly after. For now, check out official images just ahead.
