"Pure Platinum" settles onto the base.

“Hot Fuchsia” Accents The Women’s Nike Zoom Vomero 5

Now over two years into its current retro run, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 stands tall as one of the most sought-after sneakers of summer. While the model has been out in force in recent months, it won’t be long before sneakerheads start shelving the mesh-heavy tech runner in favor of more weather-permitting options as we creep towards autumn. Even still, Nike still has a few vibrant, summer-worthy colorways in its chamber, one being this latest women’s pair.

Eyes are first drawn to quarter TPU cage, taken in bright “Hot Fuchsia” to match the midsole and tongue/heel branding. Relying heavily on that imposing splash of color, the rest of the design takes a bit of a back seat. The shoe’s mesh base and leather overlays both appear in “Pure Platinum,” the latter of which comes decorated by reflective “Metallic Platinum” in familiar fashion, aligning with the Swoosh logos. Otherwise, a black tongue, sock liner, Swoosh piping, and outsole add contrast and fulfill a balanced palette.

The arrival of official images suggests these will hit shelves sooner rather than later, so keep it locked to our Sneaker Release Dates page for further updates. Anticipate the model’s standard $160 MSRP.
