It’s not often that we see brands sacrifice profits without incentive in today’s age, so when it happens, it should be highly celebrated. Initially previewed early this summer, the One Block Down x Nike Air Max Plus “Reverse” will be available for just €49 at a special event in Marseille, France on August 31st, making what’s usually a $170+ shoe more attainable for all.

The Air Max Plus is an international sensation, but no continent loves the Tuned Air classic as much as Europe. A longstanding symbol of street style and urban youth, you’d be pressed to find a more suitable model for any European brand to collaborate on. Italy’s One Block Down brings a “Reverse” design theme to match the shoe’s special “Reverse Price,” with a soothing “Light Photo Blue” gradient pasted onto the base, capturing the essence of the Italian Riviera. A white leather mudguard and white TPU overlays rest above, while a black midsole features blue Air units. One Block Down branding appears on the tongue, insoles, and forefoot where the text is broken up into three sections.

Showing love to their community, the One Block Down x Air Max Plus “Reverse” will first release on August 31st at 4PM CET in Marseille, France at a special location that will allow locals to get their hands on pairs early for just €49.
