The Nike SB Vertebrae Surfaces In “Royal”

Arriving Fall/Winter 2024 for $85.

The Nike SB Vertebrae Surfaces In “Royal”

The Nike SB Vertebrae continues to surface in new colorways following its debut earlier this year, now touching down in “Royal Blue” for Fall/Winter 2024.

The SB Vertebrae isn’t a shoe that commands headlines, but in truth, that’s not its primary mission. The shoe boasts modern performance-minded qualities and retails for just $85, providing skaters with a budget-friendly option at a price point typically reserved for models like the Janoski and Blazer. Those are both two iconic skate shoes, sure, but lack the modern technical specs that skaters have grown to prioritize in recent years.

Standout features of the SB Vertebrae include a rubber cupsole, a common preference over the vulcanized soles of the Janoski and Blazer, and a ribcage-inspired quarter akin to models like the Air Max Moto and Pegasus 2K5. Suede panels are placed near the forefoot and heel, the former of which comes with perforations for breathability, while the tongue and lining are both comprised of mesh. Navy and “Royal” blue treatments touch up the top half this time around, while a grey outsole polishes off the look.

The Nike SB Vertebrae “Royal/Grey” will start arriving at skate shops during the Fall/Winter 2024 shopping seasons for $85. See official images below and stay tuned for updates regarding a wider nike.com release.
