Black & Grey Define The Latest Nike Field General ’82

As the low-key style of the adidas Samba and its ilk continues to dominate the footwear world, the Nike Field General ’82 remains a tentpole of the Swoosh’s response. Championing the same simplistic design, the once-gridiron silhouette marches on with a “Black/Silver” arrangement on tap for this Holiday season.

From the jump, this bears a very close resemblance to one of the first looks we saw in the shoe’s 2024 retro run. That’s not too much of a shock; the sleek overall design naturally lends itself to these sort of two-tone looks, and monochromatic executions are a timeless look. Iterating on that true “Black/White” colorway, this shoe swaps to dark grey accents on the tongue & heel branding, but maintains the same philosophy in broad strokes: a nocturnal atmosphere interrupted by a pure white Swoosh.

The Nike Field General ’82 in “Black/Grey” comes your way this Winter, retailing at a palatable $80 MSRP. Take a closer look via the official image gallery included below and keep our “Where to Buy” section handy for direct links upon release.
