Split Color Blocking Lands On The Nike Vomero 5 Roam “Racer Blue”

Arriving Holiday 2024 for $180.

Split Color Blocking Lands On The Nike Vomero 5 Roam “Racer Blue”

Every popular Nike shoe has its own mini-series of niche-specific offshoots. We’ve seen it with the Air Force 1, Dunk, and myriad Air Jordan and Air Max models, and now for Holiday 2024, the Beaverton brand is capitalizing on the Vomero 5s modern resurgence with an all-new version dubbed the Vomero 5 Roam, an outdoor-minded overhaul of the trending tech runner.

We’ve covered news about three upcoming monotone colorways in recent weeks, and now for a bit of variety, the Beaverton brand brings split color blocking to a fresh “Racer Blue” and “Summit White” pair. The high-contrast split heightens focus on the model’s defining feature; wrap-around TPU foxing that helps provide a more rugged, durable, conditions-ready wear. A chunkier, stability-focused midsole gets taken in the same “Summit White” hue for cohesion, while added heel-tabs, tongue-tabs, and a hiking-style speed-lacing system add even more utilitarian appeal. Sensibly, the top portion consists of “Racer Blue” nylon as opposed to mesh.

The Vomero 5 Roam is currently set to debut during the Holiday 2024 shopping season for $180, although specific release dates haven’t been floated at the time of this writing. Enjoy official images of this “Racer Blue/Summit White” colorway below and stay tuned for further updates over the coming months.
