Signing with Curry Brand in October of 2023, it was confirmed that the All-Star and former Clutch Player Of The Year would receive his own signature shoe under Curry Brand. Some details of the Curry Fox 1 signature shoe were recently unveiled during an official Under Armour media event with Stephen; the shoes would be low-cut, runner-esque, and with a mid-foot strap.
Today, Sneaker News brings you exclusive first-look details at the Curry Fox 1, revealing some key developments to the public for the first time.
Firstly, the logo. Curry Brand has revealed a unique symbol that De’Aaron will carry throughout his signature shoe journey. It mimicks the letter D, while also depicting a fox in a common resting position, curled up into a ball. The same logo can be found on insoles of the shoes.
Under Armour revealed that the Curry Fox 1 would feature a mid-foot strap. While not fully shown here, you can see the end of the strap as it sits flush against the lateral side. It is designed to appear like the tail of if a fox. Curry Brand symbolism is apparent in the shoes as well; Stephen’s last name appears on the lace-tips, while Curry’s own logo appears at the toe.
Finally, the Curry Fox 1 will feature Under Armour’s proprietary Flow cushioning foam unit. It appears to be a full-length Flow plaform, similar to what we see in Stephen’s own signature model.
Under Armour will be sharing additional details surrounding the Curry Fox 1 throughout the remainder of 2024 as we lead into an official release later this year. Curry Brand is also embarking on a China Tour from September 10th through the 16th, with both Curry and Fox on location; additional looks at the Fox 1 could potentially be revealed there.
