Nike Has A Terrifying Air Force 1 Low For Halloween

Mid-September is about the time you should start brainstorming costume ideas for the upcoming Halloween festivities coming in the end of October, but it appears that Nike has their plans already set in stone. Joining the various holiday-themed sneaker drops for next month is this Air Force 1 Low dressed up in a spooky get-up that aims to both please and terrify.

Seen here for the first time, this AF1 makes use of a blood-curdling colorway of black and crimson, with the red peeking through the cracked leather material that makes up the majority of the upper. The Swoosh logo juts outward via a chiseled form, while thick laces adds to the premium effect typically accompanying the brand’s Quickstrike-level releases. Of course, the detail de resistance is the visage of a human skull that sticks outward at the toe-box, matching the upcoming Dunk Low “Halloween”.

The October occasion has always been a prime platform for Nike to get playful and creative with their shoe drops. This Air Force 1 is a solid representation for the well-celebrated holiday, as is the full selection that includes the Dunk Low “Black Spider-Man” and Nike Basketball signatures such as the Nike Book 1 and Nike JA 2.

Currently, firm release date information has yet to be unveiled, but these will likely drop sometime on or around October 31st.
