Take the adidas MAD IIINFINITY, a next-century spinoff of the Crazy 1 unveiled towards the top of the year. As the futuristic silo becomes a more common sight in the adidas catalog, it’s taking on an icy all-white colorway.

A functional inversion of the very first outfit the shoe took on, blending “Core White” & “Dash Grey” across the profile. For those unfamiliar with the silhouette, the influence of Bryant’s chunky Kobe 1 is obvious, but TMac’s line also is a touchstone, lending the overlapping side panels and TPU shank. Importantly, though the design here is a fusion of Three Stripes basketball, heavy interior padding and a TPU shank ensure that the MAAD IIINFINITY is also fit for everyday, lifestyle purposes.
