Andrew Rizzo If you swung a missed trying to cop the Bad Bunny adidas Gazelle Indoor back in April, you’re in luck. The Puerto Rican multidisciplinary and adidas are re-releasing the original black and white colorway in grand fashion on September 21st, with pairs expected to hit adidas.com and several retailers.
The initial release signaled a new chapter in the Bad Bunny x adidas partnership, with the two parties releasing their final adidas Campus project dubbed “The Last Campus” in the weeks that followed. The Bad Bunny x Gazelle Indoor “Black/White” aka “Benito” was followed by a blue “San Juan” pair in June, and while we haven’t heard of additional Gazelle Indoor projects, the potential for more is still very much alive.
To the uninitiated; Bad Bunny’s Gazelle Indoor is a pretty drastic overhaul of the traditional model. The T-toe suede overlay is blown up in size and placed diagonally over the forefoot, creeping under the frontmost stripe, and the heel portion is almost completely unrecognizable. Key alterations include an added hairy suede panel with an exposed size tag, nylon collar, and subtle canvas foxing above the midsole. The shoe also comes with a removable double tongue and rope laces; two hallmark features of Bad Bunny adidas shoes.
