Yet another brand new colorway of the Nike Air Max Plus has arrived, and it might be a hot pick among fans of an AL Central team looking to shock the world in the Playoffs.

Appearing in a colorway package of Royal Pulse and Deep Royal Blue, this Air Max Plus likens itself to the throwback uniforms worn by the Kansas City Royals, a team that is currently in the postseason mix with the potential to win their division. The lighter Royal Pulse shade appears on the mudguard and the exterior “lava” overlays, while the gradient mesh upper fades from light to dark with Deep Royal Blue.

Although the Royals have distanced itself from the iconic baby blue throwbacks, a similar color palette is indeed seen in their alternate City Connect jerseys that were introduced for the 2024 season.
