Nike Goes Back To School With The “Passing Notes” Pack

Two of Nike's defining silhouettes get GS-exclusive looks.

Nike Goes Back To School With The “Passing Notes” Pack

Dedicated readers will remember Nike’s “Notebook Scribbles” pack, uniting staples like the Air Max 90, Air Max 1 and Air Max Plus with school-aged doodles ahead of back to school season. With the new academic year fully underway, Beaverton is circling back to a similar concept, delivering another batch of reliable silos with a brand-new “Passing Notes” motif on the Dunk Low & Air Force 1.

Look to the tongue tag for the fullest embrace of this concept on either shoe, a notebook-like patch with “to” & “from” labels. While the most notable change here, Beaverton creatives do an excellent job ensuring cohesiveness across these two pairs. Despite the Grade School demo, there’s a collegiate atmosphere with the refined palettes of “Soft Yellow” & “Baroque Brown.” Of the same token, corduroy detailing inside the Swoosh and on the heel cup elevates these above your run-of-the-mill GR. All told, either shoe delivers some playful touches and seasonal appeal, perfect as we look ahead to second semesters and academic Q2s.

Expect both the Nike Air Force 1 Low & Nike Dunk Low “Passing Notes” to land on Nike.com and at retailers for Fall 2024, exclusively in GS sizing. Retail is set at $100 for either pair upon arrival.
