Andrew Rizzo The New Balance 1000 continues to surface in new colorways following its revival earlier this year, cementing a role as the Boston brand’s premier “dad shoe” of the moment. Most pairs have come in bunches, and that remains true for the upcoming “Rain Cloud” pack, shown here via official images ahead of its October 7th arrival.
Three pairs comprise the delivery, all of which make use of New Balance’s “Rain Cloud” grey shade on their quarter logos and midsole accents, paving way for the unofficial nickname. New Balance has brought several striking colorways the archival runner in recent months, but this latest trio prioritizes versatility above all else. Options include a black, grey, and “Silver Metallic” pair, all of which feature standard leather and mesh up top. Aesthetically speaking, the pack isn’t far off from the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 1000 trio that dropped back in June, offering a likeminded variety of contemporary styles.
