Chrome aesthetics take the lead once again.

This Nike Air Max Plus “Reflective” Is A Must-Have For Nighttime

While colorful gradient looks are the default for the Nike Air Max Plus, the rise of Y2K styles has ushered in a new set of aesthetic choices that have become frequent sights in 2024. As the Tn’s 25th anniversary marches on, a new “Reflective” chrome colorway is on tap for Holiday 2024, reprising an everlasting palette once again.

Last explored with burgundy chrome and “Liquid Metal” editions this Summer, silver accenting is very much at the forefront with this pair. However, reflective gets a different meaning in this application, eschewing metallic details for 3M-like graphic overlays that shine in the dark. While there’s a lot of overlap between this pair and that “Liquid Metal one,” this pair swaps to clearer Air bubbles and a steely panel in the center of the midsole, leaning towards eye-catching rather than fully stealthy. All told, blacked-out Air Maxes remain one of the most reliable offerings for Nike, and injecting a bit of new life with this reflective Air Max Plus might just usher in a few more converts in addition to long-standing Tn fans.

The Nike Air Max Plus “Reflective” is expected to drop this Holiday season. While pricing isn’t concrete at the time of writing, expect a slight premium on the AMP’s usual $170 sticker price.
