Seasonal “Wheat” Arrives on The adidas Crazy 8

In our world, the autumnal equinox means it’s officially “Wheat” season. While Nike dominates the Timberland-esque aesthetic through cuts like the Air Force 1 and Dunk, adidas is also privy to drawing from such fall-worthy attire.

Embracing retro basketball aesthetics through a seasonal lens, the adidas Crazy 8 is now getting its very own “Wheat” colorway for Holiday 2024. Titular suede overlays wrap a white leather base up top, while both colors touch up the wavy midsole underfoot. To the uninformed; the Crazy 8 was Kobe Bryant’s first signature adidas shoe and was originally called the “adidas KB8” when it debuted in 1997. While traditionally released in sporty retro basketball-inspired colorways, the model has assumed a number of more contemporary, lifestyle-oriented looks since the Three Stripes brought it back last year.

adidas hasn’t set a firm release date yet, but the Crazy 8 “Wheat” is projected to hit shelves during the Holiday 2024 shopping season for $150. See official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming adidas shoes.
