With pairs like the Air Jordan 1 Low “Halloween,” Kobe 5 “X-Ray” or Vomero 5 “Spider” emerging well ahead of the Holiday itself, it appears that we’re set for one of the biggest spooky SZN pushes from Nike in recent memory. Even on the basketball slate, editions like the Book 1 “Halloween” or Ja 2 “Halloween” are poised to bring the same eerie atmosphere to the court, but the Swoosh isn’t done. Official images of another Nike Dunk Low release just hit the newswire, sporting the glow in the dark detailing rampant throughout Nike’s October drops so far.

Most of the shoe’s real estate is taken up by rather traditional fare, with a mix of black leather & suede matched by a staid white midsole. Of course, the luminescent details take the reins when the lights go off, from the laces to the outsole to the extra-pronounced jewel Swooshes. Even the typical tongue & heel cup branding get in on the action, either of those Nike stamps appearing in ghastly, dripping typeface that coyly evokes the “Goosebumps” series.

All told, this is surely one of the more reigned-in Halloween releases we’ve seen so far, much easier to slide into year-round wardrobes than its peers. The Nike Dunk Low “Halloween Glow In The Dark” is expected to release sometime in October. Keep watch on our Sneaker Release Dates page for retail pricing and a concrete release date once that info emerges; peep official images included below in the meantime.
