A novel new detail for Ant's standout kicks.

The adidas Anthony Edwards 1 “Iron Sharpens Iron” Features Iridescent Uppers

The Minnesota Timberwolves’ world was absolutely turned upside down just a month before the season, swapping their stalwart All-Star Karl Anthony-Towns in a trade with the New York Knicks. Poised as an inner circle contender for 2024-25, the move almost assuredly makes that a harder road, but Anthony Edwards says “Iron Sharpens Iron.” As his team’s hopes sit squarer on his shoulders, the stellar run for his signature shoe continues with the newest version of his Anthony Edwards 1 Low sporting a steely foundation and some glossy detail over top.

As promised in our title, the biggest development is a color-changing finish on the TPU shroud that defines Ant’s first dedicated model. The metallic motif is carried throughout, lending a reflective, chrome hue on the honeycomb siding before resolving with translucent grey on the herringbone traction underfoot.

As the inner mesh bootie remains in jet black, finishing touches of “Solar Orange” on the heel and outsole deliver on the “Iron Sharpens Iron” motif, evoking red-hot weaponry and the parallels between the height of basketball and a genuine forge setting. Though #5 remains a defining face in the NBA, he recognizes the need for further refinement to bring Minnesota championship #1 – and the latest look for the adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low offers the chance for you tap into that atmosphere.

The adidas Anthony Edwards 1 “Iron Sharpens Iron” releases on November 29th, retailing at $110. Keep a close eye on our Sneaker Release Dates page for further updates as that date approaches.
