“Concrete” Drapes This Energetic New Balance 9060

“Concrete” Drapes This Energetic New Balance 9060

Alongside the New Balance 990x series and the New Balance 1906R, the New Balance 9060 is part of a “new” generation at the Boston brand, each faces of the mainstream status the imprint has carved out as a defining company in sneaker culture. The 9600 is more likely to be spotted on the train or sidewalk than on an Instagram feed, but there’s no denying the models techy bonafides, once again on display with the upcoming “Concrete” colorway.

In trademark fashion, steely grey suede up top and off-white vintage on the midsole set the foundation for this pair, tapping into the most reliable NB combo. From there, though, we get a few patches of a more energetic vibe, imbuing “Navy” within the midfoot branding and pine green on the curvilinear body panels, the heel and the tongue. The differing hues here create depth & contrast in this design, but this is clearly meant to be an approachable pair, bringing new energy to the silhouette while still meshing with mosts everyday outfits you can trot out.

The New Balance 9060 “Concrete” drops this Holiday season, retailing at $150. Check just below for official images in the meantime.
