Original article published October 8th, 2024: At the tail end of Q3 and the start of Q4, we were besieged by a run of Nike Dunk Low releases that switched up the branding on Peter Moore’s design. Of course the “Halloween” Dunk Low takes the cake in that regard, but additional pairs hit the ‘net bearing glow in the dark bubbles, textured panels next to embedded roses, or a double shot of Swooshes. Though perhaps not as novel as those pairs, the theme continues in the most eye-catching layout yet with the Nike Dunk Low “Glitter Swoosh”

True to its title, the once-basketball shoe gets its Swoosh overhauled with speckled, reflective material, carrying through the heel tab at the very rear. Displaying a “Light Silver” hue, the branding switch remains a guiding light throughout the shoe, extending to a smattering of adjacent neutral tones that make up the shoe’s upper. However, the notable hardware doesn’t end with the Swoosh. Instead, a contrast sole and black leather lining reinforce the LX (LuXury) subhead for this release, adding a high-class subcurrent into this flashy pair.

The Nike Dunk Low LX “Glitter Swoosh” is already available in Japan, with a stateside release likely coming in short order. Expect a $125 price tag once this pair lands in the US.
