Andrew Rizzo The Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” is one of the most iconic OG colorways of all time, one that Nike has been privy to slap on other members of the Air Max family. Hot off the heels of a likeminded Air Max 90, the Beaverton brand is bringing a similar assortment of grey, black, and “Volt” to the Air Max Plus Utility for Holiday 2024.
The “Volt” accent shade touches up the Swoosh, Tuned Air units, tongue, and black pull laces, adding a bit of energy to an otherwise monochrome shoe. Light grey coloring floods the base, overlaid by flush black “overlays” in lieu of the traditional cage. Capping off the delivery, the mudguard and backtab are both comprised of black suede to match the midsole, lining, and toe cap.
We’ve only been hit with a handful of Air Max Plus Utility colorways in 2024 due to the arrival the Air Max Plus Drift, the brand’s most recent offshoot. Even still, outdoor sneaker aesthetics are simply too trendy to justify archiving the Utility entirely.
