Nike Hides A Reflective Pattern On This Starry Air Force 1 Low

...but what do these details mean?

Nike Hides A Reflective Pattern On This Starry Air Force 1 Low

The Vanta Black Air Force 1 on tap for this Holiday season is centered around the total absence of light, but Nike is adding another Winter drop that needlight for its greatest aspects to unfold.

It’s a tale of two halves with this Nike Air Force 1 Low, carrying full chrome materials towards the rear on the collar, overlays and Swoosh. On the heel tab, retro “Nike Air” text is fully debossed, adding some aesthetic contrast between vintage appeal and the inherent futuristic lean of its metallic finish. Conversely, the lacestay and mudguard panels sport barely-visible patterning at rest, but when hit with light, reveal a full camo-like print in 3M.

While these official shots reveal what could be text on the lateral side, without a 360° view, it’s nigh impossible to make out exactly what the print represents in full. A star-shaped dubrae, sporting the Swoosh centered in its five points, rounds out a litany of novel additions to this shoe.

The combination of all the special edition details leads us to believe that there’s likely a larger story at play. While we wait for that narrative to come about, we can report that retail release calendars point towards a December release for this Nike Air Force 1 Low.
