In Beaverton, special edition touches on the Dunk Low is a reliable formula to capture audience attention. The Dunk Low “Halloween,” and Black Spiderman Dunks are some spooky season proof of that, but a growing series of colorways has their sights set on another holiday further down the road. Following public acclaim for the first looks at the Dunk Low “Roses,” a stealthier edition is set to join.

Like its predecessor, embossed flowers are the headliners on the Dunk Low “Black Roses,” making their greatest impact at the heel counter panel. Three flowers grow out from the Swoosh, pushing the leather stripe into a jagged arrangment to make room for themselves. The resulting dripping geometry was notable in that scarlet colorway but the goth vibe this pair taps into is an even better fit; the same arrangement is achieved at the toe and in select hits on either shoe’s medial side.

From there, the sneaker remains in pretty typical Dunk territory. Leather up top and a nubuck foundation blend together ever-reliable black & grey,  those two shades only interrupted by a darker steel hue on the tongue tag and midsole. Though seemingly intended for a beau with darker sensibilities, the Dunk Low “Black Roses” seems like a fit for a Valentine’s Day ’25 release window, but concrete info is currently unknown. Expect a $125 retail price whenever this pair emerges; you can check out official images embedded below in the meantime.
