Original article published October 16th, 2024: With Jordan Brand’s part in A Ma Maniére’s “While You Were Sleeping” anniversary collection ending with their Jordan 4, James Whitner’s Atlanta brand is ready to drop the lone Nike Air Max member of the six-shoe, multi-brand lineup in short order. The Maniére Air Max 95 is confirmed to release on October 25th alongside a co-branded varsity jacket to match.
Starting first with the Sergio Lozano classic, the anatomy inspired sidewalls revolve chiefly around Maniére’s hallmark dusted mauve hue. A soft pink middle panel hosting the black mini Swoosh anchors the gradient, bordered by light shades above and dark shades down below. Emphasizing sleekness, the sidewalls are comprised of leather and fine suede and feature, flush, visible stitching in lieu of the traditional, more layered appearance. Internally, Maniére brings a leather tongue and sock-liner as well as what appear to be branded, embroidered insoles. Capping off the delivery with more branded touches, Maniére’s “A” logo is stamped into the heel, the tongue features classic text, and a cursive memo dots the lateral side of the toe overlay.
Much like what we saw with Maniére’s aforementioned “WYWS” Air Jordan shoes, the delivery is accompanied by special apparel. Two anniversary-inspired varsity jackets are on tap for the 25th, featuring black and white leather sleeves, respectively. Chenille patches include a Swoosh and A Ma Maniére text on the back as well as “A” monograms and “2014” on the front.
